Associate Director of Corporate Relations

Reports To:  VP of Sponsorship/Director of Corporate Relations

Job Description:
The Associate Director of Corporate Relations will help to be responsible for all new corporate development and account management activities within NAAAP Boston. He/she will serve as an account manager for several of NAAAP Boston’s current corporate sponsors, but will also participate in “new business development”. Corporate Relations is primarily responsible for funding NAAAP Boston’s activities/programming, and is therefore a critical and highly visible role.

The primary responsibilities of the Associate Director of Corporate Relations are to:

• Manage relationships with current NAAAP Boston sponsors and partners: Many of those include HR and Diversity and Inclusion professionals at Fortune 500 companies

• Serve as central point of contact between internal NAAAP Boston team and internal NAAAP Boston committees

• Present/sell the value proposition to potential new sponsors

• Assist the director with new development activities: Pipelining prospects, setting up calls/meets to build relationships

• Work on programming and events per the sponsors’ needs: This could include coordinating event logistics or leveraging NAAAP Boston’s network for event attendance

• Support other committees when they require sponsor engagement, i.e. for programming or event-specific sponsorship
